Computers for Youth is a non-profit organization that helps families improve their Home Learning Environment. Students are in class for only 13% of their waking hours, so it is important that they also have exciting opportunities to learn at home.
To help families, CFY partners with schools and non-profit organizations around the country to provide children and parents with technology and training to make it fun to learn at home. Using software games, simulations, and fun activities identified by CFY, children can explore new areas of interest — both on their own and with parents as their learning partners. Students, software experts, and educators from around the country advise CFY by identifying the latest fun educational software for our review.
